Error: The TAPI configuration has changed...(due to modem removed).
Error:
The TAPI configuration has changed and the modem/port selected for this session is no longer valid.
Cause:
The modem associated with the HyperTerminal connection has been removed.
Solution:
Associate the HyperTerminal connection with a valid modem.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Programs' and select 'Accessories'. (A submenu appears.)
3) Select 'HyperTerminal'. (The 'HyperTerminal' program group appears.)
4) Double-click the 'Hypertrm' icon. (The 'Connection Description' dialog box appears.)
5) Click 'Cancel'. (The 'New Connection - HyperTerminal' dialog box appears.)
6) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Open...'. (The 'Open' dialog box appears.)
7) Select the appropriate HyperTerminal icon from the 'Look in' list box.
8) Click 'Open'. (The '<connection> - Hyperterminal' window appears, where <connection> is the name of the selected HyperTerminal connection. The 'Connect' dialog box also appears.)
9) Click 'Modify...'. (The '<connection> Properties' dialog box appears.)

10) Select the correct modem from the 'Connect using' drop-down list box.
11) Click 'OK' to close the '<connection> Properties' dialog box.

12) Click 'Dial' to make the connection, or click 'Cancel' to close the 'Connect' dialog box.
13) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Exit' to close the '<connection> - HyperTerminal' dialog box.
14) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Close' to close the 'HyperTerminal' program group.
